I like making these little snakes. They can be turned into a necklace easily or just guard your keyboard on your desk from snoopers. I hand forged each one and do my best to give them each a personality. They make thoughtful hand made gifts that don't break the bank!
Production Process:
Each snake starts out as a 1/4" rod of 1018 hot-rolled steel. The head and tail are tapered into recognizable forms and the body is bent into their signature snakey shape. The forge scale is wire brushed and each one is blued with heat to give a multicolor pattern that comes out slightly different each time.
Once hatched in the fires of the forge they make there journey one way or another to their new owners to watch guard or observe the landscape.
